She became the member of a tennis training center, Tennis Canada’s National Training Center that is located in Montreal. She completed her schooling with The Study in Westmount until the age of 11, as when she turned 12 years old, she shifted to Florida with her mother so that she could get proper coaching from Nick Saviano. Florida not only gave Eugenie the best coach but the best friend too, Laura Robson, who is also a professional tennis player.
For giving Eugenie a bright future in tennis, her father made a partnership with two other investors, The Tennis Mania which was built to support her future career. The partnership in the investment was made on the basis of Eugenie’s future income, out of which she had to give 10 percent for returning the amount. However, in August 2013, the court claimed that the partnership had no legal grounds after which the investment was broken out. At the age of 15, Eugenie came back to Montreal for tennis practice and training.
Her professional career began in the year 2005 at the age of 12 when she first participated in Auray for the Open Super 12 tournament. She got a hold of the ITF singles and ITF doubles titles while she traveled to Costa Rica, and also the All Canadian ITF singles in Burlington in the year 2008. The next year also brought good news to her when she won the title of champion for Canadian under-18 indoor championship that took place in Toronto. After cracking a number of awards and championships by playing under 18 years old, she got her very first title of WTA in the year 2014.
In October 2014, Eugenie entered the 2014 WTA Finals which was in Singapore.
